Interior Painting & Home Refresh in Cork
Interior room painting and selected cosmetic home-refresh work with the preparation, finish and standard materials defined before the quote is accepted.
Clear scope · Cork based · Quote agreed first
What this service covers
- Two finish coats to walls in one agreed wall colour where coverage and condition allow
- White ceiling and standard skirting/one door included in the standard-room scope
- Normal cutting-in between wall, ceiling and woodwork colours
- Minor filling, sanding and preparation for walls already in reasonable condition
- Standard-quality paint and normal consumables included unless the quote says otherwise
How it works
Home Refresh is aimed at normal interior repainting and smaller cosmetic jobs rather than full building renovation. A standard room price assumes an empty or easily accessible room of roughly 12–14 m², previously painted walls in reasonable condition, one wall colour, a white ceiling and normal woodwork. Photos help identify when extra preparation, specialist primer, wallpaper removal or additional coats need a separate allowance.
Best suited to
- Bedrooms and living rooms that need a clean repaint
- Rental or holiday-home refreshes between occupancies
- Combining painting with a Clevessa clean before a property is used again
What affects the quote
- Room size, ceiling height and access
- Wall condition and preparation required
- Colour change and number of coats needed
- Woodwork, doors, feature walls and paint specification
Starting prices
Scope and exclusions
The starting price is not intended for damaged or heavily stained walls, fresh plaster requiring a full sealing system, wallpaper removal, major crack repairs, damp treatment, specialist coatings, high access or complex decorative patterns. Those items are inspected and quoted separately. Customers can also request labour-only pricing if suitable paint is already supplied.
Common questions
Does the standard room use one colour everywhere?
No. The standard scope allows one wall colour with a white ceiling and standard white woodwork, including normal cutting-in. Decorative multi-colour walls, geometric designs and complex feature work are quoted separately.
Is primer always included before two coats of paint?
Full-room primer is not automatically needed on sound previously painted walls. Minor repaired areas can be spot-primed. Fresh plaster, stains or difficult substrates may need a separate primer or sealing system and are quoted accordingly.
